Dan Brown is the author of numerous bestselling novels, including the #1 New York Times bestseller, The Da Vinci Code -- one of the best selling novels of all time. In early 2004, all four of Dan Brown's novels held spots on the New York Times bestseller list during the same week.

Recently named one of the World's 100 Most Influential People by TIME Magazine, Dan Brown has made appearances on CNN, The Today Show, National Public Radio, Voice of America, as well as in the pages of Newsweek, Forbes, People, GQ, The New Yorker, and others. Dan is a graduate of Amherst College and Phillips Exeter Academy, where he spent time as an English teacher before turning his efforts fully to writing. Bella, a young girl at 17 from Phoenix, decided to live with her dad, Charlie in a small and gloomy Pacific North-West town of Forks. Forks where she doesn't expect to like it, does have her a new set of friends and settle into a new school.

She eventually told Edward that she knows that he and his family are vampires but still she was not afraid of him and was deeply inlove with him. And she is willing to become a vampire for him.

But Edward refuses her and tell her about their stories. For Edward his love for Bella is both a delight and a torment. A delight because she is the first person he has loved since he was made a vampire. A torment because although he has sworn off human blood and only hunts animals the craving for human blood never truly leaves him and the very scent of her also stirs his hunger for blood. And the fear to loose her when a set of vampires, "the hunters", came to their town and started to hunt for bloods.

Stephenie Meyer - Twilight Series

About the Author

Stephenie born in Connecticut in 1973. Her family was settled in Phoenix by the time she was four. The unusual spelling of her name came from her father, Stephen ( + ie).

Stephenie went to high school in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was awarded a National Merit Scholarship, and she used it to pay her way to Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah. She majored in English.

Stephenie met her husband, Pancho, when she was four, but they only saw each other weekly through church activities. When they finally got around to exchanging words, sixteen years after their first meeting, it only took nine months from the first "hello" to the wedding.

They have been married for ten and a half years now, and have three boys. Gabe is eight, Seth is five, and Eli is three.

Twilight is her very first novel. New Moon is the second book in the series, Eclipse the third. The fourth book Breaking Dawn will be released this August.
